Dr. Joseph C. Gathe, Jr., MD, FACP, FISDA

A Houstonian since 1960, Joseph Gathe Jr. graduated from Strake Jesuit College Preparatory as the second ranked academic student and was recognized with top honors in both science and foreign language.  He then attended and graduated from Trinity University in three years Summa Cum Laude and was awarded the Presidential scholarship every year for maintenance of a 4.0 grade point average


Deanna Breaux-Gathe

A proud native of Louisiana, Deanna has successfully worn many hats throughout her career. Currently she is a Co-Active life and leadership coach which encourages individuals to stretch their thinking, exit their comfort zone, and embrace new forms of personal growth. This pinnacle is a compounding of the artistry she has learned through her life’s journey beginning with world travel as a flight attendant in college, followed by a marketing and sales executive career at Showtime Networks.


Dr. Joseph Varon, MD, FACP, FCCP, FCCM, FRSM

Dr. Varon is the Chairman of the Board of United General Hospital and United Memorial Medical Center. He is Chief of Staff and Chief of Critical Care at United Memorial Medical Center and United General Hospital in Houston. In addition, he is the Chief of Staff at UGH Pain and Spine Hospital. Dr. Varon is the Former Chief of Critical Care Services and Past Chief of Staff at University General Hospital.
